Spent Mother's Day 'up North'

I had a great Mother's Day and I hope everyone else did something special. We had a back yard cook out.
Brady showed me where a couple of waterfalls were. It was such fun!

Oh, the stories this one holds in it's hull.
South side of Lake Superior but at Wisconsin's northern most point.
This was new for me. My daughter candling her ears. I'm gonna try this soon. Those that do it, swear by it.

OK, I just have to do something creative while away. It still carries with me. I found this doll scalp in my son's garage (don't ask). I cut some hair and added it to the fooseball table players. Now one looks like 'Chucky' and another like Paul Revere. If you see the other players, they all have their personalities on the teams. Mr. T (not pictured) is the other goalie. I had fun.

Yes, it Snowed one afternoon while visiting my son. Just north of Ashland, they had 3 1/2 inches. Fortunately for us, it was gone as quick as it came.

Your Mother's day looked wonderful. Love it up in Ashland. Love the northwoods period. The variety of weather is astounding in any month. Love the foosball table idea. Reading your blog I am finding that you are one crazy kind of gal, my kind of person. Hope to get to know you some day.
