January Piecemakers Quilt Guild

This was our January demo project by Judy. Her hubby made us all those cute little hole punchers on a stick. Then we strung thread to the 'correct' holes.

Patsy actually got two of her quilts back from quilters. The two shown were quilted by Marge West and you can contact her at margewest@hughes.net if case you'd like teeny tiny stippling like these here. She does all kinds of quilting too.

Frosty Weekend

Hoar frost: an arrangement of ice crystals on objects on the surface of the earth. It occurs when the condensation of water vapor forms needle-like crystals. Hoar frost is often call a white and 'furry' frost. I call it spectacular!! We have had many consecutive mornings of this now.

a tiny bear resting comfortably under this table. Along with one of my favorite pin cushions.

Some favorite pin cushions spotted this weekend.

The quilt center is an heirloom with newly added borders. They match perfectly!

Karen has kept a wonderful log of quilters she has met on all her visits to the Homestead. She is filling her second scrapbook already.
