Blizzard Coming

Sophie loves jumping and being up high.
just showing off.

When the birds are doing this................

then this is gonna happen ....................
then hopefully this will happen.

This Pileated Woodpecker made a visit outside our house last week.
He always comes before a big snow storm. I see him about 4 times a year. They are the size of a crow .

We are all well. Bracing ourselves for the big snow storm.

January Local Guild Meeting

Cindy B taught us the "Ten Minute Table Runner"
Two pictures of all our efforts.
Marcella wearing her sweatshirt jacket (class she taught)

Carol P made these purses w that Puckery shrink stuff you use with steam. These are just the best purses I've seen. Carol modified the pattern. Lots of body to them and lots of pockets inside, magnetic clasp.

Linda P made these neck scarves.

Chris D got some 'fame' . She made the block "Live" on this cover of quilt book. Titled " Word Play Quilts" by Tonya Ricucci
I finally got the 2nd quilt done that was made with the 2008 donated fabric squares.
Mindy Skinner from "Stitches by Mindy" of Lodi WI did the wonderful quilting on all these projects. **tip - if you give your long armer runners, she can add them to the sides and ends without much extra cost - done cheap.
Some greater than 6 year old projects finally quilted!

Yvonne made her jacket in Marcella's class held at "Cozy Quilt Shop" in Richland Center WI. It is a new shop you all need to stop at.
Susan's quilt for her camper.
